The picturesque parkland course set in Chapel-en-le-Frith known as 'the capital of the Peak District' presents a challenging test for all golfers combined with an easy walking course. Chapel-en-le-Frith Golf Club is located in the High Peak, 13 miles southeast of Stockport, close to Buxton and Macclesfield.

The clubhouse and bar is open to non-members so do call in for a coffee, food or something a little stronger and soak up the atmosphere and see what the club has to offer – spectacular views from the lounge bar and balcony

As you approach through the foothills of the Pennines you could be mistaken for anticipating quite a stiff walking test here in the High Peak. Nothing could be further from the truth!

You will soon discover that the course, nestling in the valley between Whaley Bridge and Chapel-en-le-Frith, is built on gentle rolling parkland surrounded by the magnificent scenery of the Peak District. The peaks act merely as a beautiful backdrop to add to your experience. Why not view for yourself on our hole by hole online tourGolf and Club Mark

The course offers a variety of challenges designed to test golfers of all standards. The beautifully presented greens are medium paced and vary between flat and significantly undulating. The course uses many natural features (lakes, rivers and trees) to enhance the superbly designed layout which is regularly used for County representative matches. Peter Alliss recently quoted  Chapel Golf Club to be a 'charming course in in the High Peak'
