Chapel won their regional league and therefore qualified for the quarter final with the home tie against Kedleston Park GC Juniors. The five man team of Matt Mellor (Junior Captain), George Biggin, Matt Walton, Harry Hibbert and Ben Naden won this closely encountered quarter final match.
The semi finals and final were held at Chatsworth GC on Thursday 12 August with Chapel fielding the same five man team. Chapel won the semi-final match against Mickleover GC with a thrilling finish when Harry Hibbert took the match to extra holes and won it on the 19th hole. The final was contested against Tapton Park GC Juniors who had beaten Horsely Logde Juniors in the other semi final. The match was another close game and with the match score at 2-2 it was down to the last match on the course which Matt Walton managed to win on the 17th green.

The team were awarded the Derbyshire Junior Champions Trophy and individual glass mementos.
The Chapel team representing Derbyshire in the English Junior Champion Tournament will be be a three man team with Matt Mellor, James Rothwell and George Biggin being the Chapel representatives.
