A three stage progress academy style has been adopted for all Juniors as follows:
PAR
Stage 1
Introduction to golf. fun games and competitions using Tri-Golf, Extreme Golf and specialist junior equipment. Play on the course. Weekly lessons led by golf professional and trained volunteers
BIRDIE
Stage 2
9 hole supervised friendly rounds. Learn the rules and etiquette of golf. Coaching from the professional - basic skills; driving, iron play, chipping and putting.
EAGLE
Stage 3
18 hole competitions for handicap's of 36 or better. Coaching by golf professional and County coaches. Many juniors members join the Derbyshire squad. League and representative matches take place on a regular basis throughout the Summer months.
