We were very proud to have been awarded GolfMark Club of the Year in 2009 from the English Golf Union and we now maintain our High Achiever status under this umberella, which recognises our commitment to both juniors and beginners at the club.
Our main aim is to encourage Juniors of all ages to learn how to play, how to behave properly on and off the Golf Course in terms of etiquette and most importantly to have some fun!
The club runs junior competitions, leagues and sponsor coaching. We run a superb programme of events for junior members.
We encourage participation in our 'Chapel Chippers' coaching schemes. More experienced juniors with official handicaps are allowed to play in adult competitions. The Junior 'Chapel Chippers' Academy runs throughout the year with Nigel Parkinson and fully supported by a band of member volunteers with all the relevant CRB checks. Chapel-en-le-Frith Golf Club is a perfect venue for the young golfer to excel at sport.

Welcome from Owen Bradley Junior Captain
Enthusiasm, excitement and excellence. These are the three components which I will strive to deliver in my year as junior captain. I am extremely honoured to have been given this role for 2017.
Through planning, creativity and with the help of the new Professional Nigel Parkinson and Junior Organiser Cath Hallam, I feel strongly we can grow the Junior Section into something great this year. I wish to help create an environment which is fun but competitive and one which encourages new friendships, enabling all juniors to fully enjoy and maximise their golf. I hope that by developing a strong community within the junior section, we can promote and encourage a high level of respect and etiquette for each other and the game itself.
I am looking forward to the challenge of my new role and in particular working with the new Captains Derek Hallam and Anne Runagall.
Finally, I would like to wish everyone all the best for 2017 and hope it is another great year for Chapel-en-le Frith Golf Club.
